Our fresh sourdough starter, made with only organic flours (a mix of 10% Arrowhead Mills rye and 90% King Arthur bread flour) and filtered water, was developed by Kristen Dennis in 2016. Since then she has painstakingly nurtured "Ozzy" so that he is both fast rising and robust. Fresh starter can be revived much quicker than a typical dehydrated starter, in as little as 1-2 days! 

NOTE: The fresh starter has been prepared in a manner that allows it to survive even long transit times. If you have any issues reviving your starter according to the directions once you receive it, please reach out to us at help@fullproofbaking.com
